What's up Wednesday ????

Well, I finished the baby album I have been working on.
I was so excited to finish that I didn't take not one photo of it.
But, believe me it turned out really cute and the lady at
work can't wait to give it to her daughter-in-law.
Boy, I hope she likes it.
So, with that finished I have put the Mardi Gras album back on my table.
This page is of the day they crowned the Queen.

With this album it is all about getting a lot of photos on the pages for the
memories so embellishment are at the minimal.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to stop by and
see what Susan has to share today.
Don't forget to find time to create and to join our challenge this week
Susan will be giving away a stamp from Unity Stamp Company.

Make Something Monday !!!

So, It is Monday again and the weekend has gone by way too fast again.
My daughter Lauren has been spending the weekend with us
which means she is sleeping in my craft room.
So, today I am going to share a card I had in my stash.
I love it when she comes cause we don't get to see her enough
since she lives in Mississippi.
That isn't that far way but she works a lot too.
With that said this card works great for our challenge this week
over at Where Life Meets Art
This week we want you to stamp something.
Stamping can be ink or digital and this card has a digital stamp I colored
with my Copic markers.
Then I cut it out with my Big Shot scalloped circles dies.
Thanks for stopping by and if I get back in my room tonight I will whip up
another new project to share with you Wednesday.
Don't forget to find a little time to be creative this week.
Stop by and see what Susan has to share.

What's up Wednesday ???

Well, it is hump day and I have no idea where half the week has gone.
This is really a busy time at work so I haven't been in
the craft room much.
But, the week is still young and I will make it back there sooner or later.
In the mean time I will show you the desk I have been working on
If you missed the 1st post you can go back and see
it here.
This past weekend I decided to tackle the inside of the drawer
and the compartment under the mirror.
I went to Lowe's and found this pick/purple paint and thought it
would look great with the silver.
Oh, it looks really cute.... check it out !!!

Now, I need to start putting hardware back on and then
attach the mirror. My daughter is coming this weekend so I would really like to
have it finished before she gets here.
Keep your fingers crossed

Thanks for stopping by to see what's up with me this week.
I'm sure Susan has something to share so stop by and see her today.

Also, we still have our challenge going on this week.
You can find it here.

Make it Monday # 6

Good Morning,
It's Monday again and that means we are doing another challenge over at
Where Life Meets Art
This week we want you to ....

Make a card with a sentiment on front

This challenge might be hard for some people but so easy for me since
all my cards have the sentiment on the front.

I was on a Design Team for a card challenge and that
is how we had to make all cards.

So, I got out my stamps and decided to make the whole
card front with just stamps.

I used Tim Holtz Visual Artstry Collection Stamps.
The inks are also Tim Holtz- Peacock feathers, fired brick and black soot.

Sorry not a very good photo this week, I was having camera issues.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you check out what Susan
has made for you today.

you might not have seen.

Make Something Monday # 6

Well, it's Monday and that means we have decided on another challenge over at
Where Life Meets Art
and we sure hope you will join in the fun.
This week we want you to use hearts.
Since Friday is Valentines Day it should be an easy challenge.
For my entry I needed to make a Wedding card again so this
was perfect.
To stick with the challenge I used heart brads to anchor my vellum
onto my card.
I used gold embossing power for my sentiment and I found this gold paper
in my scrap paper. Sure to wish I knew where I got it cause I love it.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to stop by Susan's
blog to see what she has to share and to join our challenge.

Photo Friday

So I have been looking at all my photos and I realized a couple of things.
1) I do not print photos unless I am going to scrap them.
2) Since photos are digital you can look at a lot of years and events faster.
I remember taking photos to get developed, getting so excited
and when I looked at all the photos
I see that my photos didn't turn out.
Oh, but you still  had to pay for them.
Now we push delete!!! Lol
Here are a few of my favorite photos I came across...
My Daughter Lauren

Paris & Buddy in a basket

Oh, and don't forget to backup those pictures atleast every couple
of months if you take alot of photos.
Our challenge is still going on so stop by
I'm sure Susan has something to share with you today also.

Make Something Monday # 5

Well, It's another start to the work week and man am I not ready.
I worked Saturday so that means I only had one day off
this weekend and boy did it fly by quick.
Last week Darcy joining us in our "Use Dimensional Adhesive"

I like how she used the dark background, makes your pattern paper pop !!
So I did make some time to whip up a little card for our challenge
over at my friend Susan's blog>
Where Life Meets Art
This weeks challenge is to use Pink and Red in your design...
Should be easy since it is February and we need to be thinking about cards for
our Sweethearts.
I decided to use my new stamp set I got the other day.
I stamped the cupcake and cut it out. Then I cut the hole in the card and
used Pop Dots to attach it to the clear I put over the hole.
OK, I am using those left over clear packages I told you about.
They work great. I love a window card.
Thanks for stopping by and jump on over to Susan's blog
to get all the details of our current challenge and check out
her very first process video.
Then find time this week to be crafty !!!
Have a great Monday and I will see you Wednesday !!
