What's up Wednesday !!!

Good Morning !!! Starting this year I will be posting on Wednesday.... WHAT'S UP !!   So this means that whatever is on my craft table I will share with you. Sometimes it could be a card, a scrapbook page, a mini album or like today it could be some goodies that I have picked up lately. If I am working on a project there could be a tutorial so don't forget to check in with me on Wednesday every week.   Now for today I want to share with you my happy mail.  SCRAPBOOK DAILY DEALS

These 6 x 6 are the special today !!   Everyday they have a special. You can sign up to get an email every time a new deal comes out, plus like them on Facebook. The deal that I LOVE the best is called   BAG OF SCRAPS !! It is cheap and you never know what your going to get. The fun part is they only do it every couple of months and if you don't watch for it everyday you will miss out..   OK, I'm rambling !! I am just so excited at what I got for only $ 14.99 plus postage. My total was only $ 21.35 And here is what I got !!!

Make Something Monday #1

 

Welcome 2014 !!!

  I have teamed up with my friend Susan over at "Where life meets Art" and we are going to start posting a new challenge  every Monday and we hope you will play along.   Our challenges could be cards, scrapbook pages, or mixed media. We will try and mix it up every week. This week we want you to MAKE A WINDOW CARD   Susan has posted all the rules and you can find her blog by

This week my card has a window cutout almost in the middle of the card.
I cut a 1" section out of my card and filled it with a thick clear packaging
from some scrapbook supplies.
I always knew I was keeping that for some reason...
( I bet you keep them too !! LOL)
I used my Creative Memories heart punch and added some
twine and heart bling.





I will be giving this card to my Valentine this year.
All the paper was used from a 6 x 6 pad from Fancy Pants,

Thanksgiving Break over at The Perfect Sentiment

  I'm sure you noticed we didn't have a challenge over at The Perfect Sentiment this week. Although some of our Design Team doesn't live in the United States we have decide to take a break for Thanksgiving to celebrate with our families.   But don't worry we will be back the first week of December to finish off the year with some great challenge.

PSC98: Fall or Halloween

Hi Everyone, The Perfect Sentiment is having another challenge this week. We want you to create a card with a Fall or Halloween theme. Don't forget to put your sentiment on the front of the card.     This week our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps

 

Our sponsor will supply the random winner with 3 free images. Even if you don't win please stop by their page and help support our sponsors.   For my creation this week I wanted to do something different so I decided to make a Fall invitation to a block party.  

 

  I used Tim Holtz inks to color my card around my Bugaboo stamp. Then to sprinkled it with water for some added details. Tim Holtz inks are so fun to work with. PSC97: Poinsettia Christmas

  I know we haven't even gotten post Halloween but over at The Perfect Sentiment we are getting you in the Christmas Spirit. This weeks challenge is to create a card using a Poinsettia. After I printed my digital Poinsettia I decided to fussy cut it out to put on my card.

I colored it with my Copic markers and then cut several of the petal and leaves so that

I could pop them up and give it some dimension.

To add some spark I got out my stickles. After that dried I stamped my sentiment

on a tag and tied a ribbon. Oh yea popped it too !! Love me some pop dots.

Topped it all off with some sequins in the middle of the flower.

PSC95: Layered Thanksgiving
