PSC93: Holiday Snowflakes

Well it ain't Winter or Christmas yet but the weather is changing
and I can't say I will miss the Summer.
Alabama really gets a PUNCH with the heat and humidity.
So good riddance... see ya later.
Over at The Perfect Sentiment we are starting thinking about the cold weather.

This Week...
CREATE A CARD FOR THE UPCOMING HOLIDAY SEASON AND INCORPORATE SNOWFLAKES ON IT IN SOME WAY. IT CAN BE IN THE IMAGE YOU USE, DIE-CUTS, EMBOSSING FOLDERS, ETC. DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR SENTIMENT ON THE FRONT

No sponsor this week but we will still pick "Perfect 3"
So head on over and join the fun.

But, before you leave let me show you my card.
I started with stamping and embossing a background stamp. Then
I punched these snowflakes and oh yea embossed them.
I mixed glitter with my embossing power to give it a lot of sparkle.
This is the stamp I used and the snowflake punch.

I am sure there are those product people that can look at this stamp and tell you
who made it but I can't ... sorry !! LOL
Thanks for stopping by....

PSC92: " Find Me Some Fall" challenge at The Perfect Sentiment

Hi Everyone, today is Wednesday and that means another great challenge
over at The Perfect Sentiment.

I live in South Alabama and that means that we do not get to see
trees turning beautiful colors that you guys get to see in the North.
So, with that being said we want you to create a card with any sentiment
but show us your Fall colors or your Fall images.
Don't forget to put the sentiment on the front of your card.

This week our sponsor is PATTIE'S CREATION

The random winner will receive 3 free digital images.

This week I am so pumped about my card. I was scrapping this weekend at our
LSS convention and decided to make my card. I had an idea but I wasn't sure how it was
going to turn out.
I thought I was going to have to stamp and cut out all these leaves but the wonderful
lady that was sitting beside me had two punches that worked perfect.
She got them at Micheal's.
I started inking my card with Tim Holtz - Brown Saddle. Then I stamped the image
of the three little frogs. They were holding balloons but it was easy to cover them with my leaves.
I colored them with my Copic markers and then I started punching and adding the leaves.

So without further delay... Here is the card.

I so love how it turned out !! So glad you stopped by and I hope I have
inspired you to make a card and join us over at the
Challenge Blog.
Don't forget to check out all the other Design Team members blogs.
I have listed all of them in my sidebar.

PSC90: Ribbon, Seam Binding or Baker's twine

Well Hello Everyone !!
I bet by now everyone is back into the routine of getting up and getting the kiddos off
to school. I know this might sound crazy but I miss not having that structure in my life.
My kids are grown but boy when they were at home and in school I was
the best organizer...LOL
Now all I have to organize is my scrapbooking supplies...hehehe
Anyway enough of that. Let's talk about our challenge over at
The Perfect Sentiment.

This week-
CREATE A CARD FOR THE OCCASION OF YOUR CHOICE AND USE RIBBON, TWINE, OR SEAM BINDING OR ALL 3. INCLUDE YOUR SENTIMENT ON THE FRONT.

Our sponsor is ROBYN'S FETISH

The winner will receive 5 free digis !!

Now to show you my creation for this week.

I decided to use some seam binding that I had recently gotten from my husband's
great grandmother's house. She had passed away years ago and I got a call from her
daughter asking me if I would be interested in any sewing stuff. Well, I never learned to
sew very well but I knew she would have some ribbon, zipper and seam binding. This purple is
one of many colors I got. Every time I use it I think of her and I'm so glad because I'm very
sentimental. The image was stamped with Versamack ink and embossed with black embossing powder. I wanted to color the flowers so I stuck my
thumb into some ink and pressed it to the card. The background ratan ribbon is actually something
I kept from a tie on a fruit basket we got at work.
The cute sentiment was from my stash.
I'm so glad you stopped by and I hope you take time to create and join our challenge this week.
