Since last week was a week to give thanks we want you to make a card
to recognize someone who means a lot to you or maybe does a service for
you and could use a card to let them know how you feel.
Don't forget to put your sentiment on the front of your card.

Our sponsor this week is Pattie's Creations

The winner will receive- 1 free digi

For my card this week I decided to make a card for my dogs groomer. I always like
to let her know she does a great job for me .
This card will hold a gift card for an added bonus.
I know she will love it !!!

I found these cute little fellows on the web and I'm sorry I can't give credit to the person I
got them from. I fussy cut them and added pop dots to make them jump off the page.
Too Cute. !!
Thanks for stopping by and if you need more inspiration please stop by the other
Design Team members. All the bog address are listed in my sidebar.

PSC56:Piece it Together

Welcome to Wednesday and another challenge over at The Perfect Sentiment.
This week we will run our challenge for two weeks since Thanksgiving is
just right around the corner.
Challenge: We all have those little scraps and pieces we just can't part with, yet we wonder why we keep them. Grab your stash of scraps and pieces and create the background for your card.
You can use any sentiment just make sure it is on the front of the card.

Our sponsor this week is Shelly's Images
Prize: one free image

Now to show you my card.
I dug through all my scrap paper to get all my pattern Christmas paper out.
Then I just started cutting and making a pattern on my card.
After I stuck all the pieces down I put a coat of Mod Podge.
After it dried the card had a great shine to it.
I then made a tag for my sentiment and added some ribbon.
Check it out !! Love it !!
I'm seriously thinking about doing all my Christmas cards like this so I can use up all those scraps
of paper. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out all the other DT members creations.
I have all the blogs listed in my sidebar. Happy Thanksgiving !!!

Since Christmas is just around the corner I knew this box would be perfect.  I recently taught a class on how to make this box.

Without the top on.

The ribbon holds the box together when the
top isn't on it.

The top

Now for the inside. This box is made with only four pieces of 12 x 12 paper.
Three are stacked and the other sheet is use to embellish the inside and to make the top
and bow.
I added a little Christmas tree with presents in the middle square.

I also added a pocket for adding a gift card or tag.

I guess I couldn't tell you everything that I used to embellish so here is a small list.
Stickles
Snowflake punch
Washi Tape- Tim Holtz
Glimmer Mist
White doodle pen.

Blog Candy !!!

I have created a kit with all the paper and directions to make this box. To
Be eligible you need to leave a comment and join my blog.
Easy, peasy !!
I will do a ramdom drawing on Monday morning for the lucky winner.

The twist: make your card a CAS card.
That is Clean and Simple for anyone that might not know what that means.

Now for my card I used a cute little turkey that I got from a swap. To keep
it simple I added a cute necklace for the turkey and a sentiment.
