Where does the weekend go ???

This weekend just flew by for me but, I had alot of fun. Saturday I went to Scrapping Frenzy for a great class. I learned how to make these fun flowers. Man, If I would of know that it was that easy I would of tried them sooner. Take a look at the tag and card we made. It is really great getting together with people that love to scrap....
The small one was made with a 1" piece of paper, a scoring board and a little glue.
Then I got home and made this scrapbook page. I was in "THE ZONE"
Today I need to clean my scrapbook room because I was in that Zone..LOL,
Have a great week !!!!!

My project is a monogram card that I intend on using for thank you notes. I used Wild Card cartridge (pg 33) to cut out the two triangle overlays. Here is what it looked like before I stacked the two together.
The "P" is an accent sticker from Sandylion Essentials. And here is the final results.

The darker image is me learning how to use a new camera without using the auto focus.
Yep, still got alot to learn.

Sketch Challenge

August Sketch Challenge for Scrapping Frenzy was in the back of my mind cause I really didn't know what I was going to do to make this page work for me.
Then I remembered I wanted to do a page without pictures but with information on the last space shuttle flight and landing. I really liked how it turned out.
Here is the sketch I used, just turned it upside down to make it work for me.

And here is the page that I completed on the Shuttle
The wording at the bottem of the page is the final words spoked by "Whoever" when the shuttle landed on July 21.

Cards for St Judes Kids

So, this weekend I started off making a couple of card for St. Judes Kids.

August 11, 2011

I decided to rent the " Mickey and Friends" Cartridge from my scrapbook store to see if I liked it enough to buy it. Here are Mickey and Minnie that I cut out at 4". I don't recomend going any smaller than that on these because the pieces get so small it will drive you crazy...
Oh, and yes I will be buying this cartridge really soon !!!
